Terms are words used to show a specific rule without making the effect be too long. It is mostly used to condense effects. This document will show all effects from set 1.

 

Altar Monster Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play altar monsters.
Altar Search: This term will be used when a card lets you add a card from your altar.

Altar Summon: This term will be used when a card lets you summon a monster from your altar.

Attach: This term is used where a card can be attached to a monster.

Attack Phase Skip: This term is used when you skip a Attack Phase.

Attack Lock: This term is used when a targeted monster cannot attack. (Mostly used in attachment cards)

Attack Unlock: This term is used when a monster can attack even in a zone which in the rules, it says that it can’t.

Banish: This term will be use when you have to send 1 or more card(s) to the abyss from your field.

Battlecry: This term will be used when a card enters the field. 

Block: This term will be used when a card cannot be summoned normally. 

Boom: This term is used where all cards (monsters, items or everything) are put in the Catacomb or Abyss.

Burn: This term will be used when the card does damage to a monster card or master card.

Cancel: This term is used where an ability can be canceled.

Continuous Item Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play continuous item cards.

Copycat: This term will be used when a card counts as another card.

Counter: This term will be used when a card lets you put a counter on it.

Denied: This term will be used when a card let's start a battle over when at the start of it.

Devolve: This term is used when you can devolve the monster into another one.

Direct Damage: This term will be used when the card does damage to your opponent’s master card via a direct attack.

Discard: This term will be use when you have to put 1 or more card(s) from your field to your catacomb.

Discover: This term is used when you have to choose one of the top three cards to add on your hand.

Double Count: This term is used when a monster counts as 2.

Double Slash: This term will be used when a card can attack 2 times per turn.

Draw: This term will be use when you have to draw 1 or more card(s).

Draw Phase Skip: This term is used when you skip a Draw Phase.

Effect Add: This term will be used when a card can use the effect from another card.

Element Change: This term will be used when a card can change it’s element into another one.

Energetic Item Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play energetic item cards.

Eternal Payment: This term will be use when you lose a resource forever.

Evolve: This term is used when you can evolve the monster into another one.

First Strike: This term is used when a monster can attack on the first turn of the game.

Flip: This term will be used when a card lets you flip a coin.

Freeze: This term is used when a targeted monster cannot attack.

Game Denied: This term will be used when a card let's start a battle over when in a middle of it.

Hand Ban: This term will be use when you have to send  1 or more card(s) to the abyss from your hand.

Hand Kill: This term will be use when you have to send  1 or more card(s) to the catacomb from your hand.

Heal: This term will be used when a card remove damage from it or other card.

Immunity: This term will be used when a card cannot be targeted by attack and/or card effect.

Item Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play item cards.

Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play cards.

Main Phase Skip: This term is used when you skip a Main Phase.

Material Convert: This term will be used when a card lets you put it in the Quantum Zone and make it a Quantum Material.

Monster Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play monsters.

Multiply: This term is used where a monster can summon multiple copies of himself.

Powerless: This term will be used when a card decrease the original life, atk or def from it or other card.

Power Up: This term will be used when a card adds life, atk or def from it or other card.

Protect: This term will be used when a card lets you protect a monster.

Quadruple Count: This term is used when a monster counts as 4.

Quadruple Slash: This term will be used when a card can attack 4 times per turn.

Quintuple Count: This term is used when a monster counts as 5.

Relic Summon: This term will be used when a card lets you summon a relic.

Replace: This term is used when you can replace the monster into another one.

Resource Phase Skip: This term is used when you skip a Resource Phase.

Roll: This term will be used when a card lets you roll a dice.

Sextuple Count: This term is used when a monster counts as 6.

Spell Book Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play spell book monsters.

Spell Book Summon: This term will be used when a card lets you summon a spell book monster.

Stats Flip: This term is used when a monster can flip their stats around E.X 100 Life/200 Attack to 200 Life/100 Attack.

Steal: This term is used when you take a card from your opponent’s hand and add it to yours.

Summon: This term will be used when a card lets you summon a monster from your hand.

Summon Block: This term is used when a monster cannot be able to attack when it's summoned until next turn.

Swift: This term is used when a monster can avoid an attack.

Teleport: This term will be used when a card goes from one field to another.

Trapped Item Lock: This term will be used when your opponent cannot play trapped item cards.

Triple Count: This term is used when a monster counts as 3.

Triple Slash: This term will be used when a card can attack 3 times per turn.

Turn Skip: This term is used when you skip a turn.
