In the past few days, the creator of Monster Orb revealed tons of things for the game. Everything from new cards to a new set and more. Without furder ado, let's start!
On the Homemade TCG Community Discord server, the creator talked about creating a set where the old cards would come back in the new version. "Yea, but I think I have an idea for a foil card set where we have the old artworks of the game, but the new effects.", said the creator. "So the first set would be "Monster Orb's Origin: Volume 1", where it's the old version of my first set." Based on what he said, the set "Monster Orb's Origin: Volume 1" (this hints future versions of that set) will be entirely made out of foil cards, and will have the old art of cards, while having the new effects, name and have the same amount of cards as the old version of "Elemental Enrichment" back in 2019. We will update you guys if more updates regarding this set is revealed.
The creator also revealed the the old stories known as "Monster Orb: The Multiversal Battle" and "Monster Orb: Mansion's Mysteries", plus 2 others unwritten ones is now has the attributibution "CC (Attribution) - No Modifications", this allows others to reuse the story for any purpose, but it cannot be edited and the creator, either by it's full name (Dominick Groulx-Lalumière) or by his username (Thediamondcrystal) must be credited with it. With the new rights, the creator is hoping people do comics about the story, so he can create a comic dub or motion comic based on the best comic of this story, where the creator of the story will be credited in the credits of the episodes.
With this new story, he also announced that he's rewriting "Monster Orb: The Multiversal Battle" and will continue writing "Monster Orb: Mansion's Mysteries", as well as translate it into english. We asked the creator why did he do that and he said: "The 2020 rewrite version of Monster Orb: The Multiversal Battle fixes problems that old one has, so spelling mistakes and what not, describes the battles in full details and also cuts down the number of copyrighted references in this book. This book is made so people who wants to make comics have enough details to help them, but also converts the old version of the trading card game into the new one." With what the creator just told us, it perfectly links up with the set "Monster Orb's Origin: Volume 1" that creator also announced in the past few days.
Going back to the trading card game, the creator also said 4 days that the final prism monster for the first set has been made. He name's Eli, The Sorceress Prism. Based on the creator, she's a sorcerer from planet Odorix who searches for your prism monsters while also being all elements thanks to her powerful magic.
Overall, these months were filled with Monster Orb updates. We saw the released of 2 songs, the short film. We're excited as much as you for what the creator has in stock for us.
