It's that time once again! We checked every server that Diameny is active on to see what did he reveal for the game. So let's get started!
Surprisingly, a banlist has been made! On June 6th, on the official Monster Orb Discord server, the card "World Eraser" has been made and was automatically limited to one copy per altar, or "Half-Banned". On June 7th, 2020, a new page has been added to the official Monster Orb site known as "Banlist" and that included 3 new cards to the "Half-Banned" section of the Banlist.
As you can see above, 4 cards are currently limited in this pre-set 1 June 2020 Banlist: "World Eraser", "Ice Peak, The Ice Guardian", "Hell's Dragger, The Infernal Guardian" and "Shroomer, The Forest Guardian". Additionally, all "Guardian" cards, so cards like "Ice Peak - Tower", "Hell's Dragger - Chains" and others are also half-banned, meaning that you can only have 1 copy of them in your altar. No one is stopping you putting multiple guardians, plus their support cards, as long as your altar doesn't contain multiple copies of the same card.
On June 8th, 2020, the creator showed the newest card he was making. The card is called "Milkanjel, The Sky Guardian" and at first, when the creator shown the card, the element was censored but 2 members of the Homemade TCG Community Discord server (krystalkaostcg and Thor jcraft tcg) discovered that the card is a brand new element: Light. On the Artist Unite Discord server, the creator revealed: "If you're wondering how does the light element work (She will be a light element monster), it's mostly protection of the weakest and strike. So the strong protects the weak while the weak has powerful effects to help with the strong..."
"Milkanjel, The Sky Guardian" has 3600 Life and 4000 Attack, so the opposite of "Reaper, The Abyss Guardian" and has the following effect: "Block: Summoned by "Milkanjel - Halo".
Immunity: Once every 2 turns, choose a monster, Immunity to that card. (You can't use the effect of "Milkanjel, The Sky Guardian" during the next turn.) (A hard once per turn icon is there.)
Power Up: For each Light on the field, Power Up: + 500 Life and Attack."
We asked the creator for a bit of clarification and he said the following:
"First of all, the immunity effect only lasts until the end of your opponent's turn: That will be a ruling in the "Ruling" page of the website, where we see the ruling regarding the Ignitars too. Also, when it says "For each Light on the field", this actually means "For each Light monsters on the field"."
(Update later down the week: The creator also said this: "Before you ask, no, she can't give immunity to herself, that would be too op.")
On that same day, when the creator was talking about the card "Reaper, The Abyss Guardian", the same members also discovered the theme for the second set of Monster Orb. Apparently, it will be about Dark and Light, but no set names are revealed yet, as well as a logo for it.
But, the creator also revealed the set icon for "Monster Orb's Origin: Volume 1".
The icon looks a bit boring, I'm not gonna lie, but in my opinion, I think it's fine for a set icon, which most people, when looking at a card, will miss anyways.
A speed art is in the making! On June 9th, Dominick said that he'll do a speed art video. He also posted on the Chaos Galaxy Discord server, Homemade TCG Community and Artists Unite that he'll do a Q&A video. The video will apparently divided into multiple videos, probably 2.
When writing the Elemental Enrichment set article, we got information regarding all sets. When opening a booster, please expect the following:
- 1 Set Up card*
- 7 Common cards (C)
- 6 Uncommon cards (UC)
- 4 Rare, Ultra Rare or Secret Rare cards (R, UR, SR)**
*The "Set Up" cards are usually Master cards and Super Effect cards.
**In the "Rare" section, it's a combination of rares, ultra rares and secret. So yes, you could technically pull 2 rares, or even 1 ultra rare and a secret rare.
In the Monster Orb Booster boxes, it's confirmed that each booster box will have 19 normal pack and a "secret rare" pack, where 1 secret rare is guarantied, making the number of packs 20. It is also confirmed that each booster boxes will have 1 of 4 promos, each sets will have 4 promos unique to that product.
On June 10th, Chuckgames101 (or Bread on Discord) talked about the new elements which will be focused in Set 2, where it's pointless and such. We asked the creator about that rant: "I already know about the rant, but he's right; If I add a new element, it does need to have a different effect than each other, but I do love the Yin and Yang idea. I actually had that before in an archetype!
About the attack lock idea, where dark monsters cannot be attacked except by a light monster and vice versa, it does make perfect sense, but only thing: On powerful monsters like Reaper and Milkanjel, they'll not have that restriction. Buuuut we'll have to see."

Dummy packs are now a thing apparently. If you don't know what a dummy pack is, dummy packs are not to put the game on sale quicker, but instead allows people to think and create ideas on how the artwork of the pack will look, and overall know the main idea of the set. The dummy pack of Set 2 has been revealed, as well of a small part of the full pack.
The dummy pack artwork doesn't reveal much that we haven't talk about, but instead solidifies the fact that "Milkanjel, The Sky Guardian" and "Reaper, The Abyss Guardian" will be secret rare cards in that set.
We only see half of the pack but it does gives us an idea on how the pack will look; A black to yellow space background, the game logo with a glow and probably the set logo too.
We got some rule changes regarding Prism monsters. During the battle of June 13th, the creator said that he'll update the rule book a bit. Here are the changes: 1) Prism monsters and MAX Prism monsters can no longer go in the Regeneration Zone.
2) You can use other Prism monsters to summon a prism monster. In other words: "Normally, 1 monster equals 1 Level for the Prism monsters. But when you use a Prism Monster as material for another Summon of a Prism monster, you can count it as either 1 monster, or as a number of monsters equal to its level." So yes, the Catuwu and Eli, The Sorceress combo works.
Other non Prism monsters related changes are: 1) In the field/zones indicator, the field will be displayed.
"The first Q&A video is almost fully edited", said the creator on June 13th. "I just need to edit the background."
Overall, this week was filled with news! Tons of little updates and we hope next week, we have more news like this week.
